Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Software Engineer with an AI focus, you’ll work alongside a small, senior engineering team. Your primary mission: own the AI quality layer at Cuttable. That means defining what a “good ads” looks like, building the evaluation framework to measure it, and using that framework as the guiding principle to systematically improve the quality of AI-generated creative across our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Owns:

• The AI evaluation framework: defining Cuttable’s quality dimensions for AI-generated

ads (intent preservation, design craft, brand distinctness, coherence) and building the

infrastructure to measure them systematically.

• Ad quality improvement: using the evaluation framework as the guiding principle to

identify where AI-generated output falls short and drive measurable improvement in

the publish rate.

Drives:

• A systematic, data-driven approach to AI output quality, replacing the current reliance

on subjective human review or raw publish rate as the only signal.

• Iteration and improvement of the multi-agent architecture: refining prompts, agent

orchestration, and model selection across Claude, Gemini, and Twelve Labs to improve

creative quality.

• The team’s understanding of AI/LLM best practices. Cuttable wants someone who

“knows the latest trends and how to apply them contextually” to be transformative for

the whole business.• Experimentation across the AI pipeline: testing different models, prompting strategies,

and agent workflows to find what moves the quality needle.
